World Poetry Day

Every year on March 21st World Poetry Day celebrates the much loved creative style of literature, poetry. Practiced in countless countries throughout history – Poetry echoes mankind’s mutual values and commonalities; it is a platform to share innermost thoughts, feelings, and beliefs within diverse cultures.

UNESCO places importance on providing rare languages with the opportunity to be heard, they believe that poetry supports diverse languages as well as perfectly capturing the creative essence of civilisation. UNESCO therefore proclaimed March 21st as World Poetry Day.

This World Poetry Day we join UNESCO in their goals to raise awareness of poetry online, to encourage the reading and writing of poetry, to rediscover spoken traditions and to pay tribute to poets from all walks of life.

We invited employees to share a poem with us, and we were overwhelmed by the response! Thank you to everyone who got in touch, we have put together a selection of poems from our wonderfully talented team below.
