World Cancer Day

The word Cancer commands fear, anxiety, and distress. The monstrous and often heart-breaking disease is a global concern, taking 9.6 million lives every year, with the probability to reach 13 million per year by 2030.
BUT…
The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) states that 3.7 million people can be saved each year if we act now!
UICC and Cancer Research UK are working to raise global awareness, improve education and unite people to take action! They envisage a world where millions of preventable cancer deaths are saved and there is equal access to indispensable cancer treatment for everyone, regardless of ethnicity, gender or location.
This year, for the second time, UICC is using their ‘I Am and I Will’ campaign, an empowering call-to-action created to encourage people to make a personal commitment to reduce the worldwide impact of cancer.
And Cancer Research UK continues to raise awareness for everyone affected by cancer this World Cancer Day – join them today by wearing your Unity Band proudly or buy your life-saving Unity Band right now by following the link below!
